[Hallicrafters] SR-400A on CW

The SR-400A I've been working on is slowly coming to life
and operates fine on SSB (at least LSB) but on CW it transmits
about 880 Hz below the frequency it receives on.

I've looked at the schematic and, as far as I can tell, this
is normal. There seems to be no provision for producing a
proper CW signal. There is no CW carrier crystal and the
sidetone is not fed into the modulator.

What am I missing?
