[Hallicrafters] SX-117 CRYSTALS

I thank everyone for their interest. Here is what I
have found out:

Bomar and JAN both quote $20.00 per crystal, both
approx 3 week delivery. Bomar wants cashier's check,
JAN takes plastic.

Mr Zook's observation that 36.0 MHz is the right
crystal freq for the last 10 meter segment is correct.

I take it that my understanding of the operation of
the receiver is not flawed, as no one has taken any
exceptions to my original message. I have reviewed
everything and am confident that I am on course, so I
will order the crystals right away.

If anyone has any of the following crystals they would
like to part with, please respond and I will happily
take them off your hands.

CR-18/U 16.5 MHz
CR-23/U 31.0 MHz
CR-23/U 24.5 MHz
CR-23/U 34.5 MHz
CR-23/U 35.5 MHz
CR-23/U 36.0 MHz

When I got the receiver it had the following crystals
in it that I cannot use. They are available for the
price of postage to any one who wants them.

7555 kHz
7000 kHz
18.0 MHz
21.5 MHz

What the previous owner did with these freqs I cannot
fathom.

Again, my gratitude to all who took enough interest to
reply.

Does anybody have an old junker 117 or HT-44 that is
absolutely beyond hope? I would like to obtain a
matching enclosure (and possibly usable front panel).
