[Hallicrafters] I need a Junker SX 96 or SX100 OR SX101

Don't know about other's SX-100 receivers, but my
SX-100 definitely has three sub chassis units
including a crystal calibrator. The other two are in
the i.f. stages.

The SX-99 is basically the same receiver as the S-85
except that it has a rudementary crystal filter and
"S" meter (but doesn't have the internal speaker).
However, it really isn't much like the SX-100. The
SX-96 is the earlier model that can be compared with
the SX-100 but definitely not the SX-99.

I added the SX-99 as the 99 and 100 are extremely
similar.

Gary may very well be confusing some with his
inclusion of the SX-101, but I don't think he listed
the _SX-99_ for his parts needs. Clearly the SX-99
does not apply, although I would suspect the SX-96 is
pretty close electrically to the SX-100 at least.

You've got ME confused!

I've got an SX-99 and an SX-101.

There is NO chassis/cabinet interchangeable parts
there - you could place three SX-99s inside of ONE
SX-101 cabinets.

Neither the SX-99 or SX-100 has a 'separate' IF
subchassis. The SX-99 and SX-100 are the SAME size
ans SAME single chassis. The SX-101 is COMPLETELY
different. I've had SX-101's, SX-101As, and SX-101
MkIIIs.
