Let me first thank each of you who have called via landline the past ten
days or written me by e-mail to check on my well being. Yes there are major
health issues. Yes there are major computer problems. Yes my ISP's new
anti-junk mail filter is filtering everything out BUT the junk! Yes my
primary telephone line went down, literally! If I could 'see' to get a bead
on that freckled fickle Finch of "It Ain't Paradise!" bird circling over the
Ham Shack, well, there would be feathers fluttering down, not snowflakes!

Join us tomorrow Sunday December 9th for the Halligan's Hallicrafters
International 20 meter Net. (AKA: HHI) The forecast calls for flakes to be
falling and high winds things lofting, hopefully not my antennas or roof
shingles!

The Pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EST, (1745 UTC) and the HHI Net proper
at 1:15 PM EST, (1815 UTC).

The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and
the wind whistlin' Dixie through the forty foot high Scotch Pines south of
the Shack. Getting a bit tired of that same song, would be nice if those
Conifers would learn a new tune!

Last Sunday my friend, and hopefully yours, K4ZDH, Riley Hollingsworth tried
to join us with his beautiful HT-37 from his home in PA. But the propagation
was so blasted long that I think I worked myself on a mix of back scatter
cloud splatter and long path! Hopefully tomorrow the band will shorten up a
thousand miles so I can work someone other then those who llive in Maine,
Florida, Washington or California!

If you can help by serving as a relay station, just let me know! All
assistance is appreciated.

Unrelated: Any of you have a vintage Dual model 710 or 720 turntable? How
does the cartridge part of the tonearm come off?

Hear you tomorrow! Be there or be a square wave!
