[Hallicrafters] 5894 Tube for the HA-6 Transverter

I looked at a tube seller's page and he has 5894/5894a/ 5894b listed 
together. A 5895 tube is listed separately.
I use a Amperex NOS 5894 in my Eldico SSB100f hf transmitter without any 
problems. Does about 60 w pep output. I wonder what's up with the third 
anode connection on yours? Any possiblity it is not an anode connection but 
perhaps a socket do dad or heat conductor. Got a picture?
