I notice that there is no alignment procedure in the manual. There seems to 
be only a trimmer for each RF band - adjust that at the top end of each 
band.  The IF is simply adjust each can slug for peak.  It's an 
All-American Five so there's not much to it.

They don't list the NC-60, but the instructions for the NC-57 are likely 
mostly applicable.

-Don't run it without the dial lamp operating (extra load on the rectifier 
filament).
-Use an isolation transformer for safety.
