Saturday August 4th - Halligan's Hallicrafters International 40 meter Net.
All are welcome! If it isn't vintage, or does not glow in the dark, just
keep your lips sealed and do not announce to the planet that you are not
running vacuum tube gear!
The Pre-Net is from 12:30 - 1:00 PM EST/EDT, (1630 - 1700 UTC). The HHI Net
proper is from 1:00 - 2:30 PM EST/EDT, (1700 - 1830 UTC). The frequency will
be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and periodic carriers
from hearing impaired station operators who tune up on 7.280 for reasons
unknown. No matter, we just change the antennas angle of deflection off the
D layer, like the famous late Minnesota Fats did when he made one of his
impossible bank shots on the pool table, and come down somewhere that defies
the Physics of propagation theory. At least somebody hears us, even if it is
in the wrong country! Does the ARRL have a catagory for mobile Marine
Mammals?
We hope to hear you tomorrow. So dust the rigs off, light those tubes up and
drift on into the HHI Saturday Net. Hear ya then!
