[Hallicrafters] York Hamfest Comments

Hi Mark,

I have seen the somewhat steady decline of the York hamfest ever since it 
moved from the fairgrounds. I had said for many years that I would not waste my 
time again and last year I said never again!  However, when Sunday morning 
dawned bright and shiny, I decided to take a ride and try it one more time. I was 
not disappointed. It was the largest crowd I have seen in many years and 
although there were not as many boatanchors as I had hoped to find, several things 
did follow me home. 

I am sure the WX had a lot to do with this, but hopefully the folks who 
turned out wanted to give York just one more chance. I will be back again next 
year, and I hope to find a vendor selling sun screen. I forgot mine and got a nice 
start to my summer tan.
