[Hallicrafters] vibrator how it works

Come on guys, you both know better.

Ampere just got its name longer ago so folks now think it is a base unit, it
isn't. Ampere is just like hertz.

1 ampere = 1 coulomb per second where coulomb is the base unit of electric
charge

1 hertz = 1 cycle per second

I can imagine the discussion long, long ago: "I shan't use that new fangled
term ampere and God knows not that abhorrent abbreviation amp."

I tend to agree cps is more descriptive but using that terminology will get
many guffaws at any sort of technical meeting or in any technical paper.
The IEEE (Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers will not publish a
paper written with the so called obsolete terminology.

Welcome to being a fellow dinosaur.

Cheers from Minnesota,

Gerry
