[Hallicrafters] sx-73 (r-274)

The SX-73 (R-274) was manufactured in the '50's, as a contemporary of the
Hammarlund SP-600 and second-source for the SP-600 (R-274 also). I have to
look in the original ads in QST to see the exact date it came out, but I
think it just missed the Korean War...
