I have also had pretty good luck with the HF stuff. I bought their knockoff of the Milwaukee "hole hawg" several years ago and it has had a lot of use and works quite well. I ended up buying one of their
cheap portable compressors because it is more convenient for a lot of things than running air hoses from my large stationary unit in the barn; I am surprised at how well it has held up. Of course the little $4
DVM's are great; if you drop one off of the tower there is no real loss as long as nobody is standing below and the accuracy compares favorably with my calibrated Tektronix TM series DVM.
If they sold tower climbing belts I would probably pass and I am sticking with Freud and Tenryu for my saw blades but I have been happy with most items I have purchased and the price is right.
Also, I do like the HVLP guns for painting but be advised that most lower cost "conversion type" HVLP guns require A LOT of air and a small compressor is not going to keep up.
