Fascinating. I've got three home brew crystal sets that hear SW, not just
MW. One, the Super Wave Sucker, AKA SWS, designed by KO6BB for me based on
my perceived needs, uses twin 365 dual gang variable capacitors, dual diodes
+ high and low pass fileters + ferite antenna coils + front end gain of 35
Db etc., you can select a SW band and then tune across parts of it! I logged
eighteen countries with it on a long wire, QSL'ed fourteen. Fun!
