[Hallicrafters] Electric Radio comments

I don't have any experience with Barry but I was asked to do an article
on the W6WJN power supply replacement board for the Collins 30L-1.
Ray published the review within a couple of months from when I submitted
the review.
It is in an early 2004 issue.

For those who are interested, the review amp is still going strong with
no sign of a problem. 
That replacement power supply is very stout and at $99 is still a steal.

I was one of the first subscribers to Electric Radio when Barry Wiseman
was 
the editor/publisher. I had several conversations with him about
proposed 
articles. He said , yes, send them. I went to great pains to write the 
articles, take many photos and sent it all in. They never got published.
I 
finally stopped writing for him and let my subscription lapse and have
not 
seen an issue in over 7 or 8 years.

I hope the current editor is doing a better job than the former editor.
