[Hallicrafters] SR-400 RF Output ???

I don't know what the rated input or output for the SR-400 is, but from what you have given in the email, what you are getting out sounds about right for the input quoted. 800V @ 350mA is 280W input. With that you should be getting about 160W +/- out. What are your voltages under load? Do you have a scope? You might want to measure the peak drive voltage you have at the grid of the finals. Have you checked the alignment of the driver and PA grid circuits?
