[Hallicrafters] Re The SX-110 Is General Coverage

Not a problem Charlie. I am not offended by such things. After all it is a
sighted world and there is nothing different about blind people, except that
we tend to get more bumps, bruises and concussions than sighted people do!
Brailling a wall or door casing with ones head just does not work well! I
see lots of stars, comets, rings around planets and some pretty cool
flashing lights, but I doubt most is on an Astronomical star chart! (LOL!)

I do not think Hank has digital photo capability Charlie, though he did
mention sending me a photo. However, to get detail of front panel labels,
meter scales etc. is very difficult! Glare etc.

If he has a SX-110 Charlie, it does not say "Ham Band Only", it is that
simple! It also a position "A" on the band select knob which is MW and Ham
band only receivers do not have that either.

He may be looking at the bandspread scale which is calibrated for the Ham
bands, whereas the main tune is for general coverage.

He is convinced Charlie, so unless somebody is physically there and forces
him to see what is before him in the right way, he is NOT going to change
his mind.

So even if he sent me a photo and a friend verified it was a SX-110, Hank is
not going to acceptme, or anyone else, telling him he is mistaken.
