[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters Movie Sighting

Just watched the restored and newly released "The High and the Mighty" 
with John Wayne and Robert Stack last night. I had not see this since I 
was a kid, probably around 1959-1960. This movie has been restored and 
is really very good.

Their are a number of boatanchors in the movie. In particular, their is 
a shipboard radio operator communicating with the plane. He has a couple 
of S-38's and I believe his transmitter is an HT-9 however the operator 
is using a hombrew transmitter that he built and gets chewed out for 
using. Their is also a nice shot with a row of National NC-240D's. I was 
not able to identify the radios the navigator was using on the plane.

I than watched Airplane again which was a spoof on the The High and The 
Mighty and Airport, In the control tower scene with Lloyd Bridges, one 
can see a Collins 51J receiver, a Collins 32V?? transmitter and several 
RME-4350 receivers.
