[Hallicrafters] SX-117 Notes.

Many years ago, I purchased the SX-117, HT-44, and PS-150 combo new. They
worked very well, but I did run into some bad ceramic caps. They must have
gotten in a bad batch as I had most of the caps go out in one of the
receiver stages (I no longer remember which) and I had the coupling cap from
the driver to final develop a leak. (made it a bear to adjust the bias)
<:-)). It seems like there were a couple of other ceramic caps in the same
area the went out, but as I said, that was a long time ago. Also they can
sometimes get a bit finicky with the frequency when using either VFO for
transceive rather than independent.
The 117 and 44 make a very nice set.
