Still... It means getting up before noon.<sigh>
I have enough trouble doing that to get to the one here in Midland. Even 
then I usually end up doing the first part of talk-in from the car, then set 
the TM-D700 up for cross band with my HT on about 50 Mw. Then I get to walk 
around and look for the old boat anchors.

I pass the word around, if it says Hallicrafters on it, call me! 
Unfortunately the stuff I saw last year was a tad on the rough side except 
for a nice looking Valiant (that other brand)and expensive.
