[Hallicrafters] Who cares?

Hello John,

I do not believe it is necessary for me to remind the subscribers John, as
you did that quite effectively for the benefit of all. Perhaps it will be
sufficient to help keep the focus of the list on things Hallicrafters and
not on what William Halligan, Sr. may or may not have done with his free
time during his personal life. Which it is sometimes interesting, even
educational to read about, but too often degrades to unfounded and totally
speculative opinions that generally upset the delicate digestive system of
someone and before long opinions turn into irritable 'vowel' sindrome. So
before we waste bandwidth on something best discussed in private where there
is an ample supply of Rolaids and GasX to quickly sooth the rumblings before
they turn into a volcanic erruption with a molten river of warm words, risk
the dangers from a gassy blast of released anger and smother the list with a
haze of Halligan hypothetical hording or S. Boston Halibut haggling, let's
find something else to ponder. Such as how Hallicrafters helped the
University of Chicago develop the geiger counter and hwo the two Russian
"civilians" who were sent to Chicago to learn how to operate the HT-4 tried
to recrute Fritz Franke's right hand man to defect! Both true stories
gentlemen.

Thank you John for a calm voice of reason, so let us heed the "Hold It"
suggestion.

When it comes to hording, I know several of you on this list that can not
fall down in your Ham Shack as there is not enough room! (LOL!) Keep buying,
it is good for the economy and less floor space means less to have to sweep
or vacuum!
