You're asking a lot here, Bill. That was.....1976-77? I know they were
talking to the control tower/ATC in NY (I think) to get emergency
landing clearance, but where I don't recall. I suspect I was
instructed to turn off the radio for dinner, since I had installed it
in the dining room. Hey, it took more space than I had available in my
room!

I do remember that the pilot had a thick Italian or Spanish accent,
though. And I was sooooo hooked on radio at that point.
