Hold on legal eagles,
Did the "offending" party COPY, REPRINT, or PUBLISH schematics, notes, etc.
previously published in print or in a website? If not, I think a copyright
claim is a wee bit extravagant.
Does the offended party hold a patent on the modification??? I rather doubt
it.
As someone else noted, later copies of the SX-71 already had this component
change. Did Bill come back from the great beyond to complain???
Coming from the academic world, about the only thing one might claim is
plagiarism. Speaking from experience, that is a very difficult charge to
sustain.
The signal to noise ratio on this lists sounds like BPL just started up.
