[Hallicrafters] SX-62 baffling problem

I am working on an SX-62 which I have (almost completely) recapped. It 
was working quite nicely, but has developed a baffling problem. It will 
work for several minutes, on all bands, but then will suddenly go 
silent. The problem is not in the audio stage.

It's as if a component heats up and then fails.

I' working with the SX42 schematic, as all the SX62 schematics I have 
managed to get hold of (thanks to several on this list) are not quite 
legible when it comes to component values.

Any tips on likely suspects would be appreciated. Does this sound like a 
bad tube, or ...?
