My name is kirk, I am 52, I have a S38, S38, S38A, and a S38E at my side 
playing salsa from Havana. I am working on restoring the S38A at the 
moment, and would like to locate a few things- knobs for instance. This 
one has a pointer type 'chicken foot' knob insstead of the original 
volume control. Any replacements anyplace to befound?

Also, this safety mod, any discussion to insure the thing does not kill 
me down the road? HOT CHASSIS, yipe!
