[Hallicrafters] Alternatives to the 7094's in the HT 41

Great to "read the wonderful mail" and almost relive some of the adventures
described, transposed to my early 60's days in Winston-Salem NC.

 

I have finally obtained an almost working HT 41 (the elusive dream of my
teenage station.couldn't afford the -37, either.had to make do with a
wonderful Eico 720 and two crystals).  The RCA 7094's just don't light up
and rattle a bit.  Can any one suggest a method or a source for
reconfiguring the output using other more obtainable tubes (872b's or
others).
