I have a SX-117 / HT-44 station which I now have operating.  My 
question is the operational tune-up procedure.  Here is how I do it:  I 
tune the receiver until the voice "sounds good" (40 meter band), then I 
zero-beat the transmitter to the receiver setting using the transmitter 
CAL setting. I occasionally retune the receiver for better sounding 
voice and immediately zero-beat the transmitter.  Is there a better, 
more accurate procedure?  Thanks.
