I must have missed a post or two cause I'm scratching my head. What's the
connection between Olson and Poly-Paks Companies? My recollection is that
they were two separate companies. As part of their inventory makeup, they
both sold "bags of stuff" at dirt cheap prices but no different then
Lafayette's "Value-Pak" "bags of stuff" that they sold at times in the
50's and early 60's. Also, NYC's Radio Row also had several mail order
retailers that sold bags of stuff at cheap prices. There were a number of
vendors around the country that were engaged in this type of market
selling. Lots of surplus parts stuff, manufacturing dropouts, and
overruns were common back then. "JIT" wasn't in anyone's mind back then.

And Todd, another one of Lynn's familiar Limerick's:
"Lynn, Lynn, the city of sin; it's full of hookers you'd think were men;
ask for a water and you'll vodka and gin; the place is yours for a dollar
ten"

OK, back to radio stuff.
