Hi Joe,

I can't give you a comparison since I do not have any of the other rigs
you mentioned. However I have an SR-46 and also had one in 1969 that I ran
mobile using a Squalo on the roof of my Volkswagon Bug.  I also used it at
home using a 3 element beam and worked a bunch of stations all over the
U.S.

The one I have now along with the vfo works good but I have not been very
active on 6M AM (or even SSB).  I don't believe you will be dissapointed
with the SR-46A.

Good luck with it if you decide to go that way. I know you won't be
dissapointed!
