[Hallicrafters] Halli detector tubes/diodes

I have seen tube diodes as in 6H6 and 6B8 fail.
I tried solid-state diodes for the detector section of
a 6B8 in an SX-28A.  The result was no detection at
all.  Tube diodes don't have a minimum forward-voltage
drop to conduction as do sandy-state types.  I think I
tried a couple different types, to no avail.  I never
figured out for sure why the circuit wasn't happy, but
I found a new 6B8 and all was well.
