I may be wrong on this, but wasn't she still in business in the early
90s? Maybe still is? Back around that time a few of us wanted to get a
hamfest going to raise money for our local club. Since it was my
'bright idea', I got tasked with organizing and running it. I'm pretty
sure that Barry Radio was there, with Kitty doing the selling. Seems
like she attended the big Hosstraders 'fest in NH, too.

Leeds radio is still doing business with some crackpot answering the
phone and dealing with email (hopefully not the public). Thought
perhaps it was just me until I heard the same thing from several other
folks.

There is still plenty of interest out there for old radio parts and
sales. Problem is, the interest is too scattered to support a
storefront. Mail order works, but doesn't allow for the experience of
looking through shelves and boxes of 'stuff'.
