After getting yet another SX-62A going, I performed a good IF alignment, but
afterwards it was "ded"... After stumbling about for a while, rechecked the
IF - yep... both of 'em working just fine... EXCEPT... no local oscillator
coming from the 7F8... then I remembered my "tickler" on pin 1 (input
grid)... pulled it off, and she began to oscillate again... ( the 7F8 is
dual section - 1 side is the RF amp, the other is the LO)... stupid & dumb
mistake, but file that away in the grey-matter for future ref.
