Martyn is becoming more famous all the time.  The biggest warning is that 
now all of his auctions keep the bidders' id's private until AFTER the 
auction so that nobody who's been burned in the past can warn them.

He always overstates the condition of his items, and then lies about why he 
gets negative feedback.

I've actually emailed him on a few instances when he said a radio was 
"completely original" when it had wrong knobs, etc.  One was an SX-62 that 
had Radio Shack knobs on it.  I told him "come on Martyn!  It's not like 
you've never seen an SX-62 before.  How can you say these are the original 
knobs??"

His response was the usual "I never noticed, looks fine to me, etc., etc."

To anyone who has been cheated by him, you need to write calm, clear, 
specific, and logical complaints to ebay.  Don't give ebay a reason to 
ignore your complaint by making it too emotional.

Stay away, and tell your friends!
