Todd makes a good point. I just got an SX-28 last month for $125. I had to drive two
hours to get it, but the drive was worth it!  If you check the classified ads on the
ham/boatanchor websites, you may find one within driving distance. That's how I got my
SX-28. You could also post a Wanted To Buy ad on these sites. Even the classified ads
in your local paper are worthwhile. Recently, my local paper had an ad for an HQ-180
in working condition for under $100. It may be rare but it does happen.
