Certainly won't get any flames from me, Charlie. I welcome and even
applaud clever ways around otherwise troublesome or disabling problems
with our old rigs. While I'm not a fan of drilling and blasting in
some attempt to make an old rig into something a newer rig can easily
handle, I do like reversible mods or repairs like this that can hold
someone over until they find an exact replacement, if desired.

Thanks for passing this on. I'll put it with the plug-in resistor mod
for the 3TF7 in the R-390 receivers.
