[Hallicrafters] re schematic for HA-5 vfo

    I have an HA-5 vfo that the previous owner has attempted to modify 
it from the early version to the later version (I think?). Serial number 
on this fella is 199229. I have both schematics but I am still running 
around in circles trying to figure out just what this guy did to it. 
Would anyone with either version (prefer the early version) be able to 
take some good digital photos of especially the underside of the chassis 
to show the wiring so that I can get this bugger fixed. I have a fast 
internet connection so the size of the photos won't be a problem for me 
at this end. I would like to get it going asap so that I can get my 
Globe Scout Deluxe hitched up with a vfo so that I can get on AM. 
Trying to use crystals is a real pain especially when I don't have the 
correct frequencies in my  small stock.
