I have refinished the cabinets on an HT-37 and an SX-111.  I had a can of spray paint (in my collection of many cans) that was ACE hardware brand Machine & Implement Rust Stop.....#171139 Ford Gray.  I primed and painted a square of metal and let it dry over night.  When I held the sample against the original HT-37 cabinet, it was a very, very close match, about 1/2 shade lighter, but dead on for color content.  Considering the original paint was 40 - 45 years old, it may have darkened slightly with age.  At $3.99 for a 15 oz. can, it is an accessible supply of refinishing paint if you have an ACE hardware near by.
