[Hallicrafters] FS: Airborne SX-28

I have, for sale, a working R-45/ARR7. This is an SX-28 in a different
package. It works. I built up a small power supply yesterday and hooked it
to the radio. Signals all over the bands. I had to use earphones because I
didn't have a matching audio tranny. Unit was a little lite on the audio. I
suspect some attention to alignment would help. There is no tuning motor but
all controls are functional. The s-meter does work but the glass is loose.
Does not have the original knobs. Does have original case. I have three
photocopied manuals for it. Not rusty or rats nesty inside. Very clean.
Front panel has no extra holes. This would be an excellent winter project. I
had allot of fun listening to the AM fellows on 75 last night. I even missed
the supper call.
    Now, for a price. Not sure what to sell this for. Would love to have it
picked up cause shipping would cost a bunch. This unit must weigh in around
30 to 40 lbs.
    OK, Asking $200.00 or best offer plus shipping. There is a picture of
one of these in the Hallicrafters Collector Radios book. I can take a few
pictures of this one and send to interested party's.
