Hi DW,

The R-44 was supplied with a 5K transformer mounted on the speaker frame. 

The R-46B is a 3.2 ohm speaker and has no transformer, Connections are made 
directly to the speaker terminals. The speaker terminals are at the bottom of 
the speaker.
