[Hallicrafters] Ht-32B Not Working

I have isolated the problem with my non-working HT-32B down to the 9MHz
amplifier on the SSB generator.

I can see RF input at the grid of the 6AU6 on my scope but no RF output in
the plate circuit.  This is such a simple amplifier circuit I can't
understand what could have gone wrong with it.

I tried the basic tube substitution (2 additional tubes) with no change.
Resistance measurements at the tube socket indicate high readings (+20%) but
not out of line with what you would expect given the age of this rig.  Given
the failure was catastrophic (it was working and just quit) and not a
gradual loss of output, I would expect to find a bad component.  I am going
to do some poking around in the gain adjustment circuit to see if I can find
something wrong.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem?
