While the opportunity is there, I'll ignore the chance to make fun of this subject... What time of day did the transmissions occur?  Also, one evening I kept hearing similar transmissions on 75m, and finally discovered it was the wife's printer going... every time it went to a new line, it produced perfect L's in CW; sorry, can't recall the freq.  Durned plastic cases on stuff!
