Hmmm...Duno Roy.......When was the first HRO JR? 1935-36? If I remember correctly, the Government was spending a few dollars for the Military, but not much.  Spending did pick up as we approached 1941.  Wonder if they new something we didn't?  Of course, the conservative* budget went to H*** after the "sneak" attack. Had to keep buying "War Stamps and Bonds" to augment what they borrowed from the Fed. Sorry to digress. Back to studio A.
