All three of my SX-71 radios are a shade of the standard charcoal/black as
the 100, 99, 96, ......... series. If anything, leaning to the black end.
There are several versions with circuit mods along the way but the two major
breakdowns are the white on black dials (most common) and the early
production with black on white dials. All have black on white S-meters.
