Hi All,
when ordering the Historic Halligan Radio Project, HHRP, rare "one of a
kind" DVD video of Bill Halligan with the accompanying CD with an additional
119 exclusive historic files or the Two CD Audio Set, please be sure to
include your Amateur Radio call sign, if you have one, and your e-mail
address, if you have one. It is necessary for me to send you updates,
release dates of current and upcoming releases during 2006, instructional
documentation, media contents etc. This is done by electronic mail, when
available.
You are notified by e-mail on the day the item is shipped. I can not do this
if I do not have your e-mail address! The call sign helps, as sometimes I
can get the e-mail address from the QRZ.COM database and/or check a mailing
address.
If you do not have an e-mail address, well, it is unlikely you are reading
this! However, I have gotten a number of requests for the material from the
HCI web site, so I know they at least have Internet service.
All who have ordered anything that has been released to date, have now
either received the product or will in the next few days. It just depends on
how fast the postal pigeon peddles and perhaps how many Union contract
approved Pigeon piddle puddle breaks while pedaling he/she parks the postal
pedal powered parcel pickup for! That's a lot of 'P's', which is called
alliteration, not what you guys are thinking! (LOL!)
You can chekc out the contents of the DVD package featuring the only known
live full length interview with William Halligan, Sr., W9AC and accompanying
CD with 12 directories (folders) containing 119 historic files and the
contents of both the audio CD's on the HCI web site. From the home page,
locate the link for "New Stuff". From there find the link for the HHRP and
the DVD offered by W8DBF etc. Follow it and you will have arrived!
You will also get some hints about the three brand new releases planned for
April, July and October. All of which will be about 85% "never" before
publically seen material, photos, prototype designs, personal
correspondence, text transcripts and more, MUCH more! Keep them glowing,
stay tuned to 14.293 MHZ usb +/- and enjoy these absolutely mind blowing
excursions into both the history of Radio and the opportunity to get to know
the man, Bill Halligan, before he was a legend.
Thank you for supporting the Historic Halligan Radio Project by purchasing
these reproductions of original rare video, audio and text transcripts.
These are priceless historic treasures we should all be allowed to enjoy.
When I accepted this momentous challenge I did so because I believe it is my
responsibility, as well as yours, to preserve, protect and share such
momentous moments in time. Although it has been a huge amount of work to
salvage and recover material a quarter of a century old, it has been a
fantastic learning experience for me. I have always loved a challenge, and
let me assure you, I got one this time that throws more curves than get
pitched in the bull pen at a major league Spring training baseball camp! I
also appreciate all the technical assistance that several of you have taken
the time to provide me with. And the adventure has just begun -
