Hello

Although I've worked in electronics all my life, I'm fairly new to the
restoration game. I rescently completed electrical restoration of an
original s-38, an s-40 and an s-38d in that order.

I would appreciate any tips with respect to cosmetic restoration,
especially with respect to touching up the front panels while preserving
the dial markings. I have experimented a little bit, but have not been
able to get satisfactory blending when I mask off the dial markings. Any
tips?

Also, I require a knob for the s-38d. One of the knobs is missing the
silver centre insert. Additionally, any tips on cleaning/polishing the
knobs on the s38 and s40 would also be appreciated.

Thanks again

Brent
