There are a LOT of words DIRECTLY related to Latin and Greek!
I wish I'd taken Latin in school. I've even though about taking it here at the local university
just for fun.
Very amazing Language that almost everything is derived from.
I remember hearing from several Russians that Cyrillic is derived from the Greek alphabet. I
learned to
read a few Greek ship names in Greek writing over the years!

| So what's the difference, then? tele-phone means "far-talk", and auto-mobile
| is "self move" (both Greek) and television is a bastard mixture of Greek
| "tele" (afar) and Latin "vision" (seeing)
