[Hallicrafters] Michael Mclaughlin

A few months back he advertised a lot of stuff on one of these reflectors, I
contacted him and went to down to his (or his girlfriends) house in CT. I
bought a nice HRO-60 and speaker from him, he wanted 500.00 for it which I
agreed to. He actually knocked of 50 bucks which floored me as this
obviously does not happen often and I did not ask for it. (the radio does
have some backlash which I didn't notice at first)
I'm not saying to buy from him or sticking up for him, just relaying my
personal experience with him, in person he seemed like a nice guy and did
right by me. I had no idea of who he was and was very surprised to see all
the negative stuff about him several days later on the same reflector, I
think it was in the boatanchors list. I do remember however both his
previous ebay accounts and also when he went to private feedback, but did
not link the two until I read about it on the list. If I had known who he
was (I remember his feedbacks, haha!) I probably would have steered a wide
berth around him but I got a nice radio out of it for a fair price,

I found a missing piece of the puzzle. I knew Kelly wasn't
actually the sellers name, but couldn't remember what it was. I
dug back and found out the following:

The sellers name isn't actually Kelly Naccarato, (an
ex-girlfriend whose name he was using), it is Michael
Mclaughlin. Apparently Mike is using his sisters name for his
current account, although I haven't verified this yet.

  Here's a posting on eHam:

It has a link to a newspaper article, here:

Here, I found another LONG thread from people on eHam:

Here's another thread!

Just thought you should know the WHOLE story, now that I found
it! I think my effort shall not be in vein!

If you know ANYBODY that is bidding on any of this sellers
items, PLEASE WARN THEM!!! I have his address, two phone
numbers, and his current ebay email address if anyone needs it
for good reason!
