[Hallicrafters] Silver mica replacement, too?!

  I'd heard silver mica's were invincible and indestructible as well;
so now the question becomes where's a good source (or three) for them?
I've seen posts here from Gary [WZ1M] offering cap kits...hey, Gary...
Got Mica's?  That BA in my closet will have to wait a bit more I guess.

  Anyone have literature on the design and manufacture of caps? Mica, 
ceramic, paper, etc?  I was privileged once to visit the Hawthorne Works
in Cicero, IL where I saw a PDP 8-I + mylar?/foil wrapping rig churning out 
caps automagically, tirelessly and accurately. Very kewl. No, they dint
give out samples.
