Hi Al,
Yes I think the jpeg's will be helpful so yes please send them! :) Luckly
for me I have an experianced ham and tech helping me restore this radio so I
have been made aware of these things. Upon first firing of the radio we
brought it up s;lowly on a variac before actually putting full power to it.
I have replaced every cap and resistor in the thing with the exception of
the IF, BFO, and AVC cans. I am thinking that T3 is my problem as I have
rewired t1 and t2 although it is always good to double check with some one
else. Which of course is the reason for my searching for diagrams of the
wiring. Anyway T3 has a trimmer cap that is intermittant so I am going to
dig into it and see what the damge is. :)

Thanks!

Rob

Hi Bob,
I have some sketches I made showing wiring around tube sockets & (I
think) IF cans. I can email them to you, .jpg's, maybe they'll be of some
help.
Glad you bit the bullet on the xfmr, but treat it with care. If it
hasn't been powered up in recent years, dry it very well before putting
power on it, they do develop shorts, experience speaking.
