Terry, have faith, you need not worry. The archives are clogged with enough 
paint tips to make your eyes blurry! More shades of gray than even 
politicians can concieve, and more 'right' ways to do the same thing than 
you will believe! Its enamel, no lacquer, better make it a sticker! Or is it 
a decal someone somehow made thicker? No matter just remove it with that 
sand blaster and then hit it quick with primer and before it from moisture 
gets sticky spray it faster with the color,  quickly, yes faster! Then wet 
sand, spit polish and bake well in the XYL's oven, mess up her kitchen and 
the dog house you'll be lovin'!
