[Hallicrafters] S38 mods

It's expensive. This mod of mine cost me $1.
And it's really very simple to do: Remove the old cord
Ground the fat prong wire to a ground lug;
Solder the hot lead of the cord to the switch;
REMOVE the wire from the switch to the chassis;
run a wire from switch to the hot side of the lamp/resistor pair.
no butchering.
