Fw: [Hallicrafters] S38 Front end

Well, the old memory ain't all gone, I was half right, at least. Bands 1
and 2 on my S-38 both have series padders to set the high end of the band,
and parallel trimmers to set the low end of the band. Bands 3 and 4 only
have parallel trimmers to set the low end, and leave the high end float.
Again, this is the 6 tube first version, and I don't know about the later
versions.
Dick
